Colleagues from the Radisson Admiral Hotel Toronto Harbourfront raised awareness for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

May 2012

You’ve heard of a bicycle built for two, but a bicycle built for 30? Colleagues from the Radisson Admiral Hotel Toronto Harbourfront did their part to raise awareness for heart and stroke risks and warnings by jumping onto a 30-seat bicycle and completing a 20-minute ride around downtown Toronto. The innovative activity raised funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

“Our Team had an amazing time,” said Cindy Miller, guest services agent. “So far, we have managed to raise CDN 1,850, but still have until August to raise as much as possible. We’ve made big strides toward charitable events and it was a great morale booster to all involved!”

The “Big Bike Ride” is part of the hotel’s Responsible Business program to benefit research for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
