Mr. Vournakis joined CWT in 2000. He has held a variety of positions in North America, including director, CWT Air Solutions and vice president, CWT Solutions Group, North America. He will remain at the helm of CWT Canada until his successor has been named. In his new position, Mr. Vournakis, a U.S. citizen, reports to Cathy Voss, executive vice president, Global Program Solutions. He will be based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Before joining CWT, Mr. Vournakis was a consultant at Ernst & Young Management Consulting.
Mr. Guirado has been with CWT since 2007, when he assumed responsibility for TTS operations in EMEA. A French national with vast experience in travel management and tourism, he’s held positions at Havas Voyages and Wagons-Lits Tourisme and was instrumental in bringing e-commerce to travel. He is active in many industry organizations, including The European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Associations. Based in Paris, Mr. Guirado reports to Håkan Ericsson, president, EMEA, Latin America & Global Partners Network.
Mr. Ashworth was hired by CWT in 1998 to manage a service center in the Netherlands. He has also held TTS responsibilities in several European countries. A Dutch national with South African roots, Mr. Ashworth worked for an independent travel company in the Netherlands before joining CWT. He is now based in Paris and reports to Håkan Ericsson and Berthold Trenkel, executive vice president TTS.
