Carlson Hotels Wordwide Strengthens Partnership With Air China

Carlson Hotels Worldwide, one of the world's leading hotel companies, has strengthened its partnership with Air China, the country's commercial flag carrier, by offering its Phoenix Miles members a club floor room upgrade when staying at any of the group's managed properties in China. This offer is valid for applicable room rates eligible for mileage accrual at Regent® Hotels & Resorts, Radisson® Hotels & Resorts and Park Plaza® Hotels & Resorts - the Carlson hotel brands currently operating in China. The agreement between Carlson and Air China was announced at a gala event held at The Regent Beijing, the luxury 500-room hotel in the heart of the city's prestigious Jinbao street.

Carlson currently has eight hotels in operation in key gateway cities throughout China, with plans to open another nine properties by 2012, including the Radisson Plaza Hotel Tianjin which opens this month.

Air China has flights to 70 domestic cities in China, and Phoenix Miles members can receive a club floor room upgrade by presenting their membership card at check in, at any Carlson managed property in China. This promotion is valid from 16 April to 15 June 2009.
