Golden Sales Team Soars Above Industry Giants

Luxury hotel Park Plaza County Hall London took top honours at yesterday's ttgbusiness Awards 2008, winning the Hotel Sales Team / Business Development Team of the Year.

The sales team demonstrated high level of skill in managing sales of the four-star hotel from its opening in February 2008, and displayed dedication and ingenuity in developing business for the property.

Others shortlisted for the award included Avis, British Airways, Flybe, Sabre and Virgin Atlantic Airways, but none measured up to the hotel's success.

"Winning this award is a huge honour," said Chris McFall, Director of Sales at Park Plaza County Hall.

"The hotel opened in February 2008 and the sales team has worked tirelessly with corporate and leisure clients, especially business travel agents, to drive business. The team works hard, always putting in the extra work to make our customers feel valued and boost the hotel's success."

Since opening ten months ago, Park Plaza County Hall London has impressively conquered everything from the world of social media with the release of Spectrum Flip and YouTube videos, to dragon boat racing.

Part of the winning sales team, Anna Snoep was also shortlisted as a finalist in the ttgbusiness Awards Hotel Sales Manager / Business Development Manager of the Year.
