T.G.I. Friday's® Restaurants Announce 'Friday's® Awesome BBQ Sweepstakes' Grand Prize Winner

T.G.I. Friday's restaurants recently announced Karen Koranda, of Romeoville, Illinois as the Grand Prize winner of the "Friday's® Awesome BBQ Sweepstakes," which included a trip for two to the 20th anniversary of the Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue™ in Lynchburg, Tenn.

"You can't comprehend the treatment and experience that T.G.I. Friday's made possible for us," said Koranda, who was accompanied by her husband Chad. "We were treated like rock stars all weekend long and we will never forget the memory."

The Grand Prize winner's weekend capped off the sweepstakes in which Koranda, in addition to the trip for two, was treated to a personal tour of the Jack Daniel's® Distillery and received an expert Jack Daniel's® BBQ kit. In addition, Karen received a $200 T.G.I. Friday's restaurants Gift Card and a year's worth of T.G.I. Friday's Frozen Snacks and Meals.

"I entered the sweepstakes when I realized I could win a free appetizer for an upcoming visit to Friday's. I couldn't have imagined that it would end up like this."

Koranda was also treated to exclusive time with renowned Friday's® personality, Celebrity Chef and Food Dude Guy Fieri.

It is the actual sauce developed by Chad Hayden, the previous Grand Champion of the prestigious annual competition.
