Our human resources organization provides the tools you will need – including timely and accurate employment information and limitless training opportunities – to build a rewarding and fulfilling career. Here are some examples of those valuable resources:
Performance Management
Carlson helps employees take a hands-on role in building their careers in part through myPerformance, an online process that fosters an ongoing, collaborative dialogue around objective setting and career goals between employees and their supervisors.
Executive Leadership Program
Carlson's Executive Leadership Program (ELP) was launched in 1997 as a partnership with the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. ELP is driven by a three-pronged approach: enhancing business skills and leadership impact, expanding appreciation of the Carlson organization and direction, and facilitating networking to build the collective team. The program consists of three week-long, theme-based modules, covering individual leadership skills as well as core business topics, such as strategy, marketing, finance, decision making and negotiating. Participants are nominated by their leadership teams.
Ongoing Learning
Carlson Learning Network enables employees to create and manage personalized learning plans to boost their effectiveness in their current roles and help them prepare for future opportunities. Learning options range from online, job-specific courses and training for general business applications, to classroom instruction on broader topics, such as finance.
